What was the highlight of Best Western Majestic Hotel

Safe area in a historical beautiful building with kind staff.

I really truly like that It’s in a historical place in front of the Zocalo and the view from the restaurant. It’s spectacular. Also their stuff is very kind and give advice on what to do in the city. Mexicans are very kind people and these stuff is not the exception. We’ll definitely come back to stay here again.

Ahh no A/C but we understand it’s a historical building so it would be really hard to install an A/C also since the zocalo gets clean there is noice at midnight, but the last night we turned on the fan and close the window to have some sleep.

Superd location for visiting the Historical Centre.

Hotel is in a brilliant location. Very friendly staff, great roof terrace for breakfast.

There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. Weather was very hot 33 Celcius.

Excellent night in Mexico City

The location is amazing and we have stayed here many times before. Beautiful old building with great design. Lovely roof terrace restaurant overlooking the Zocalo.

Wifi in room not working properly. Had to go down to lobby in pyjamas to get connected!

Great location, great staff. A little too noisy for our liking though

Convenient location

No air conditioning and there was 24hour construction in the square below our room. Almost impossible to sleep until we asked for a fan which masked the noise outside once our windows were shut

A nice hotel for a good price.

The hotel is in an old colonial building, right across from the main square, so the location was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a king bed and lots of plugs for charging our devices.

The bed was quite uncomfortable. All the rooms are situated around a central atrium that does up to the glass room on the 6th floor, so sound carries. The elevator had to be operated by a staff member so there was sometimes a 1 or 2 minute wait.

4 days visit in Mexico City

Location of the hotel was great.

Our room located on the 5th floor and had window opening into the zocalo square. This of course provided nice view from the window. Yet, our room was so noicy throughout all 4 nights of our stay, we couldnt sleep. First night there was some major concert event few hours after Midnight. And the remaining 3 nights, of our stay, it was very noicy throughout all nights. There were some another event related building on going in nighthours. There is no airconditioning and sun shine directly into room window. It wasnt comfortable in the room due it’s too high temperature. The room surfaces were clean/cleaned, but the chairs in the room were really dirty. The hotel and our our room were kind of worn out, but it was ok for us. The hotel restaurant where breakfast buffet was available for 410$ (mexican pesos) was overpriced and we found the breakfast buffet kind of mexican food buffet, not breakfast.

LIttle majestic left in this hotel since it is very dated and in need of a desperate renovation.

Has left me with a lifetime of fond memories of Mexico City.

The location, view of the plaza and accessibility to subway, tours. Various options to shop and eat around this hotel is an added bonus.

Wifi was very weak. House keeping can be improved.

Great location in the heart of the historic Centre, rooms overlooking the Zocalo (noisy) and an excellent rooftop restaurant.

Very Good

The history and architecture of the building, the size of the room we had was bigger than your average hotel room, with your own balcony. It was in the heart of the city close to all the main attractions.The porter Javier was very helpful and provided excellent information on the building and the city.

Not all staff spoke English, we tried to speak as much Spanish as we could. The front desk were not so friendly, we would say hello and got no reply back. There can be a lot of noise from the main square adjacent to the hotel, due to protests, street vendor's and tourists. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Hotel a bit tired but great location

Location is perfect - view of the zocalo was unparalleled

Mattress old, cockroaches in room, everything a bit tired: furniture, curtains. The doona cover didn’t cover the doona. We requested view of zocalo and had to pay more : customer service was abrupt. The shower had little pressure.
